MPFM-S is more compact with less space requirement and less moving parts. The weight of our MPFM is not exceed 200kg which means it is easy to install and handle.
MPFM-S is applicable to complex fluids such as emulsion.
MPMF-S can fulfil online real-time continuous measurement. We can provide embedded software to achieve remote transmission without human intervention.
Considering the important slippage velocity of multiphase flow measurement, MPFM-S can achieve the real measurement instead of being inferred by model, which contributes to the improvement of testing accuracy.
In order to overcome the influence of medium and high gas content on water content measurement, the infrared water cut meter is specially developed. In order to completely overcome the influence of high gas content on water content measurement, a micro separation device is used to ensure the accuracy of water content measurement.
MPFM-S does not use gamma which means it can avoid radioactive pollution and harm to human body.

Intelligent Infrared Water-Cut Meter

Chengdu Pterosaurs Oil and Gas Technology Co,Ltd. successfully developed two kinds of infrared water-bearing instruments by using the principle that natural gas, crude oil and water have their own specific absorption peaks in the near-infrared frequency band.

One is a water-cut meter used for the online measurement of the multi-phase flow of oil, gas and water at the wellhead. The measuring error of water content is within ±3%.
The other one is a low water content water-cut meter with precision of 1/10000 and resolution of 1/1000, which is suitable for oil delivery monitoring and aviation oil water-cut monitoring at the oil transfer station or the joint station. The low water content water-cut meter has been installed at the joint station of a China oilfield and has been applied in the field for observation for one year. The continuous measuring output was highly acknowledged by users.
